BUILDING CODE
CONSULTING
PITTSBURGH, PA + SURROUNDING AREAS
Building Code is often complicated, confusing, and can be a major challenge for even the most experienced contractors. Irwin Code Consulting offers a broad spectrum of code consulting services to help navigate applicable building code and local code adoptions as it pertains to your specific project. We have assisted in a wide range of projects such as single item code interpretation to small scale residential conversions to large scale commercial developments. Our expertise is derived from previous direct experience as an inspector with the City of Pittsburgh, where we had the opportunity to inspect some of the largest construction projects within city limits including Carnegie Mellon's Tepper School of Business and the expansion of McGee Hospital. Our goal with this service is to provide a deeper understanding of the code implications of your project and to avoid or even eliminate delays/failed inspections as much as possible. We aim to work directly with the architects, engineers, and contractors to bring an inspector's perspective to your project.
